Animathon: The directors of Animathon are André Leduc, Producer, and Florence Bolté, Professor of Cinema and Scriptwriting. André Leduc André Leduc has produced animated films, videoclips, advertising films and documentaries. As an author, his works have been produced by the National Film Board of Canada.
Recipient of several international prizes, he has also been nominated for others: once in Hollywood, three times in Cannes, and twice in Canada for the Genie awards. He was the coordinator of Concordia University's animated film programme in Montreal, and he is the inventor of animathon, a mobile workshop for animated films that has earned an international reputation.
He created and produced the
audiovisual shows for Espace Québec in the Canadian Pavilion at the
Seville International Exposition in 1992. In 1993, he designed the
audiovisuals for the displays on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower.
He currently operates a commercial animation studio.
She co-directs Animathon International and coordinates animathon workshops in several countries.
She teaches cinema and has given courses on scenario at the CEGEP in Sainte Foy, at the CFT Gobelins in Paris, at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome, at the NAD Centre in Montreal and at Village Titan in Reunion Island. She has also given papers on scriptwriting in Bologna, Urbino, and Rennes.
She is the author of children's texts and has worked on the production of films, animated films, videoclips, and multimedia.
