Who can participate in an animathon? No previous experience is necessary to participate.
The animathon
workshop can be held in: fairs, festivals, schools and institutions. The workshop makes animated cinema available to
everyone who wants to participate in a game, produce a film, and see
the results quickly. These films are based on music, which is a
universal language; they address a vast international public,
unhampered by language barriers.
This is a sample of what we do.
Participants are invited to create a short animated film segment, bearing in mind the rules of the animathon game.
Similar events have taken place in Hamilton, Ottawa, Annecy (during international animated film festivals) and in Montreal during the 1996 Centraide campaign.

All you have to do is set the goal of producing cartoon films and attract the public by asking supporters to bid for each drawing or second of film to be produced. A profit can also be made by selling the video cassette of the production.
The price of each drawing and each second can be adjusted in accordance with the total amount to be raised.
A cartoon animathon is an original and creative way of raising funds for a collective project.
Please contact us beforehand to establish rates.
